Review of Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Ball - Hide-A-Goose Performer Gooseneck Hitch Ball - 19306

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Draw-Tite Replacement Hide-A-Goose Performer 2 5/16 inch Gooseneck Hitch Ball. This is going to replace a hitch ball for your Bulldog, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, or Reese Hide-A-Goose Performer Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, specifically, it is going to work for the models that you see on the screen there, so if you have any of those trailer hitches, whether it's a Bulldog, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, or Reese, and you're needing to replace that Hide-A-Goose ball, this is gonna do a great job for you, allowing you to still have full bed access when you need it, and then to tow your gooseneck trailer when you want to. So this is your standard 2 5/16 inch ball, so it is going to work with your gooseneck coupler. Our shank diameter here, we're looking at just over 2 1/2 inches, 2 5/8 of an inch. This does have a high rise or it is a high rise, so it's got an additional inch built in, so from the top of our hitch ball down to base here, we're looking at right at 8 1/4 of an inch, from the top of the ball down to the top of our pinhole, it's right at 6 1/4 of an inch. more

Curt 1-7/8 Inch Stainless Steel Hitch Ball Review

What's up, everybody out of here with Etrailer today, we're gonna be taking a look at the CURT Trailer Ball. When it comes to trailer balls, there's a couple of things we need to make sure of, to make sure it's gonna work. One, this is an 1-7/8 size, so make sure to check your coupler, make sure that it is the right size, and also keep in mind the weight that you're working with. It's gonna have a 2000 pound weight limit, and with that, that's just gonna make sure that the ball's in the right size, and it's gonna be able to handle some of the weight that you have on your trailer. And then another thing that really matters is the ball mount. So we are gonna have to pick one out, and one thing we need to make sure of is of course, we wanna pair it up with the weight rating of the ball to make sure that the ball mount is not gonna be limiting us at all, and also with the plate that amounts to, it needs to be in between 3-7/8 inch to 7-7/8 inch thick, anything more than that it's not gonna work, anything less isn't gonna work either. more

Review of Curt Trailer Hitch Ball - Smooth Ride Trailer Ball - C82KR

Michael: Hi there I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Curt RockerBall shock absorbing hitch ball. This is going to mount onto your standard ball mount, and it is going to provide that same attachment point for your 2/16 and 5/16 inch ball coupler on your trailer so that you can easily pull your trailer down the road. But where this is going to be different from other hitch ball options is that it's got this integrated shock drop technology on it.So you can see, this has a pivot point here that's going to allow that ball to rock forward and back. It's got cushioned isolators inside so that if you make a sudden stop, it's going to help absorb some of that shock as the ball moves forward. Same if you make a sudden acceleration, the ball will rock back to try and help smooth out that ride, so you don't get that sudden jerking sensation. more
